Ajay is an outdoor instructor for extreme outdoor survival, bush-craft, wilderness backpack, white water rafting & marksmanship. Graduate of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, National Outdoor Leadership School – USA (NOLS) & Wilderness First Responder (WFR) from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute, USA. His training backed by an Outdoor Educator Course in rock, river & snow module makes him the perfect person to plan your trips. Has led Outward Bound expeditions in Garhwal Himalayas for Outward Bound Singapore, cycling expeditions in Shooling, trekking expeditions in Spiti Valley & leadership programs for Royal Institute for Governance & Strategic Studies – Bhutan. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, a Master’s Degree in Defence Studies.
Holds 9 years of experience in facilitating experiential learning programs for adults and youth. Travel enthusiast loves the outdoors & adventures. Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Tourism. She is a qualified mountaineer having completed her Advanced Mountaineering and Search & Rescue course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, and is certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR) from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute, USA. She is a keen trekker and loves the challenges of communicating with the local villagers to get insight into their lives and challenges. Her career began with tourism, but her passion led her to facilitate outdoor learning for youth and adults. After working with various organisations, Sonam joined Ajay to co-found Adventureism in 2018.
Nathan Garnett is a whitewater specialist and Outdoor facilitator from Manchester, England. He has lead expeditions throughout the UK as well as in France, Norway, Canada, India and Nepal. Since graduating with an Hons Degree in Outdoor Leadership Nathan’s focus has been on racking up as many river miles as possible. Nathan has spent a year and a half living and working in India and is proud to call this country his home from home. Trained as a professional river guide, whitewater rescue technician and first aider, Nathan’s primary aim working as a raft guide for Adventureism is to ensure everybody has a safe, fun, learning experience on the river.
Bhuwaneshwari Thakur, an avid ski lover and winner of several Ski Championships at National and International level, got her formal training in Skiing from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (DMAS) Manali and Ski Well Course at Ruka Holiday Resort Finland. She has also done Advanced Mountaineering courses from ABVIMAS & was awarded best trainee of the batch. She has been winning top positions in National winter games in 5 km & 10 km cross country championship since 2004 and had retained the position of National Ski Champion from 2010 to 2013. She participated in Australian Cross-Country championship at Peusher valley, Australia, Fis Nordic World Ski Championship at Liberec Republic of Czech in 2009 & 7th Asian Winter Games at Kazakhstan in 2011. Her latest achievement has been the 1st position in Himachal Skiing and Snow Boarding Championship held at Manali in 2017. She is a resident of Burwa Village, Manali, Himachal Pradesh, where being with nature is a way of life. She is an adventure enthusiast and a professional Ski Player.
TM Abbas, is an architect-engineer, a thrill-seeking adventurer, and an untiring globetrotter. He started exploring places as a teenager and now carries over two decades of experience from across the globe. He is also a qualified professional in Adventure sports, Mountaineering, Snow skiing, Paragliding, Scuba Diving, and Wilderness Medicine. His love for people & passion for travel combined with management expertise & technical acumen makes Adventureism.
Rajshree is a Media Expert with more than two decades of industry experience. She has been associated with the travel domain since the last 15 years and has worked very extensively with the travel industry across categories. “A wanderer at heart and a gypsy by karma” is how she introduces herself. Her rich travel experience as a globe trotter has motivated her to embrace her passion as a full-time job and she has launched her own Caravan company to promote customized travel experiences.
With a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a certificate in art therapy, Yashita is equipped with Art Therapy techniques, Counselling skills, Therapy skills, and Positive Psychology Interventions. She believes in creating a safe environment where people can explore and find purpose in their lives, allowing them to reach their greatest potential and be the best version of themselves. She uses a holistic approach to treatment tailored to the individual and their specific needs, incorporating cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), mindfulness, positive psychology, and self-compassion to foster positive mental health and personal growth and help people accept themselves as they are. Her specialties include issues with self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, work-life balance, relationships, family counseling, substance abuse/addiction, support counseling for recovering addicts, and family assistance programmes.
